They walked me through the menu, explained the different options, and even gave me a few recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. I ended up going with the chicken & lamb over rice, it was so flavorful — perfectly seasoned and super fresh. The white and hot sauces took it to the next level. You can tell they really care about both their food and their customers. I'll definitely be back! ”

About the platter, the serving size was generous & was sufficient for two people. My husband & I shared both the platter & the sandwich. We were completely stuffed after dinner. I went there for the first time today, and it will now be my regular go-to halal restaurant. ”

“ My family missed the New York combo gyro platter and were happy to hear about Shahs Halal. We love the super late hours and that definitely helps hungry students at UCF. This was our second time and we are not disappointed. We always get the chicken and lamb rice platter and the gyro wrap. The food was fresh every time and the lamb meat is the best. It’s chunky juicy and in cube shaved unlike other paces where it’s sliced and dry. Our only complain is they don’t have enough spots open in Orlando because I am not looking forward to driving 45 minutes both ways but the food is worth it!!!!!!! They don’t skimp on the white sauce!!!!! ”
